August 2017 saw Sweets Expo hit Sydney with a bang!
I arrived in at around 10am on saturday morning and could barely move - I did a full lap looking for the Bake Off Stand and it took me over 25 mins, pushing thorugh the crowds to get through - was insane!
I was salivating at the treats, plus the stands selling cake decorating items.
Finally found the Bake Off stand and was greeted by the gorgeous Gemma and stunning Kate! So happy to see their smiling faces. Finally found the Bake Off stand and was greeted by the gorgeous and rather pregnant Jane (who I missed very much from the show) Was very grateful that the stand was in a quieter area near the high tea section, so we were able to meet, greet, take photos etc with the public.
Spent a good few hours with the Bake Off girls, fan photos and then my mommy, sexy hubby and friends came to find me.
A good wander around the after noon, watched the gorgeous Jessica Pedemont present on stage and bought some goodies... then headed out for a bit with my awesome cake mates!
Day 2 started with a very bust class with the awesome Kerrie Wyer from Viva La Buttercream! I gave her a hand with all her students and we had a blast! Everyone did so well!
Finally made it to the Bake Off stand around lunch time after a quick check in to give Verusca a hand (she managed to finish in time and was off and running...) and was greeted by the gorgeous and rather pregnant Jane (who I missed very much from the show).
Many more friends came to find me, including my cakey bestie Chrys! Lots more fan chats and pic, bought way too many sweeties to take home to my family....
All in all... I had a blast! I was later told by several people they found me everywhere! I truly had a ball and enjoyed being a social butterfly!
Am very much looking forward to the Melbourne Sweets Expo in November 2017!
